I remember when I first met Wink. He had a fabulous stone that I call the "buttercup" created
for a doctor' wife. Being curious, I asked my brother-in-law (who worked for a reputable jeweler
for 15 years) "Who is Wink Jones?" His reply was that Wink had a jewelry store that went out of
business. Wink's problem (he said), is that he's too honest. My kind of guy!!
Wink did close his
store so that he didn't have to pass on the overhead of running a store to his customers. I
have spent several hours "playing" at Wink's office, looking at various stones. I knew Wink for
about 2 years before I ever made a purchase. He joked with me once that I was the only person he
knew who had referred so many clients, but hadn't bought anything myself!
My husband and I cannot
sing enough of Winfields praises. The only thing better than a "Winfields moment",
is a lifetime of them. Wink is the greatest gemologist I've met. He always makes sure his
customer is happy and confident in their acquisitions. We recommend him to everyone.
