Hey Wink,


I got the ring a few days ago, and it has exceeding all of my expectations.
The Eightstar is beautiful, even in the lowest lights it still flickers
rainbows of every color. In direct sunlight it actually stuns my eyes
the way coming out of a movie theatre does when you first see daylight. The
flashes are much bolder than the ACA side stones. Both are beautiful, but
the Eightstar is incredible especially from a distance where the bold
flashes stand out more. I will have a hard time letting go of it :)! I look
forward to finding new places to test it and see how well it sparkles
everyday I come home from work. I also love how visible the precision
cut of the diamond is. When I tilt it back and forth, it seems like there is
always at least 3-4 very large flashes constantly on and others in the
background flickering. The ACA have the look that makes them
flicker on/off but not constantly like the Eightstar.
I took it into a local jeweller to have them
steam and ultrasonic it for me before I give it to Karen and the entire
staff was floored by it. None of them had heard of an Eightstar until then,
but I bet it's still a buzz around their shop. I could not be more pleased
with the results now that I have seen them in person, the Eightstar you
promised me is every bit as good as you said they were and more. I also
love that the diamond is so beautiful and rare that it really turns heads and
it may be the only one (Eightstar) people ever see in their lifetime and I
get to give it to Karen. Please give Richard my thanks, his product is even
more incredible than the legend has become.
