It should be noted that although original designs were presented in very nice hand renderings, the final designs were created with the latest in Cad Cam technology and carved in wax with a computer driven milling machine capable of carving the wax to incredibly precise measurements that could not be easily matched by hand carving. The use of this technology makes it possible to do the incredibly complex designs on the back of the pendant and earrings without making the piece cost many thousands of dollars more for the time needed to carve the design by hand.
