Wink Jones of Winfield's, has been in the jewelry business since he bought his first gemstone, an amethyst, for a girlfriend in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in early 1970. Within days he was buying and selling gems, to sell and for his friends, and his life long love affair and study of gems was started.
Wink graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in November of 1975, and has been active in the trade ever since. His unique jewelry store has made several transitions over the years and today enjoys a modest setting with extremely low overhead which translates to clients in the form of being able to provide wonderful high quality stones and heirloom quality jewelry at a fraction of what you’d pay a traditional retailer.
The vast majority of Wink's business is diamonds for which he is well recognized by his peers. His first love of extraordinary colored stones continues to this day. Working closely with world famous lapidary artists such as Richard Homer, Wink has an incredible collection of Award Winning gemstones as well as access to exceptional gems of many hard to find specimens and extraordinarily beautiful cut diamonds.

Sheila Cook
Sheila Cook of Winfield’s is the voice on the phone, the one who manages the systems and the person who keeps the train on the tracks. With years of customer service to her credit, her love of people and enjoyment of the role of being a “helper” makes her a great asset in helping clients get questions answered and expediting orders and service. She also oversees the accounting as well as shipping and is glad to help provide clarification or check where an order may be in process. Although she provides support mostly for the simulant portion of the Winfields business, she has knowledge about many other aspects of providing information and assistance to clients. She prides herself on helping clients get their questions answered and in providing intimate, cheerful attention to each person she speaks with.
